Colorado Civil Servants Lost Nearly Two Tons of Fat in 12 Weeks

(Weight Loss), By simply following a healthy nutrition plan and an intense exercise regimen, Civil Servants across the Denver Metro area lost a total of nearly two tons of fat within just 12 weeks.

Participants were inspired to make such a dramatic improvement in their health and fitness by joining in the 911 Ultimate Transformation Challenge, sponsored by iSatori Technologies, which provided both the motivation and a plan to achieve their goals, along with exciting prizes, including an all-expenses-paid trip to Las Vegas, to show off their new bodies.

Each participant was then judged on three criteria: the overall body transformation (as determined by before and after photos), the total amount of bodyfat lost and lean muscle gained, and finally, a written essay about how the 12 weeks changed their lives.

There will be a Grand Champions Awards luncheon presentation, Friday, May 9, at 11:00 p.m. at the Golden Hotel. Lunch will begin at 11:00 and the awards presentation will begin at noon. (The best time for the media to attend will be noon.)

Perhaps most exciting, Stephen and Julia Adele, founders of iSatori, and their staff will make a check presentation for the BIG FAT BUY BACK to the charities of choice for each department, for the total fat loss and muscle gain at a dollar a pound. The charities include The Burn Foundation, MDA, COPS Fighting Cancer, and The Denver Police Foundation.

"The turn out for this competition--as well as the dramatic transformations--have been far greater than we ever anticipated," exclaimed iSatori co-founder and 911 UTC Challenge coordinator Julia Lacy-Adele. "We've met so many incredible people and have seen some of the most remarkable changes, not only in physiques, but in attitude. This transformation process yields some of the most fantastic internal changes, far beyond the external changes. Watching each participant transform has made for an exciting 12 weeks. Hearing their stories, answering diet and exercise questions, and being a part of their transformation has been as humbling as it has been inspiring."
